Halston follows the legendary fashion designer, as he leverages his single, invented name into a worldwide fashion empire that's synonymous with luxury, sex, status and fame, literally defining the era he lives in, 1970's and ‘80's New York — until a hostile takeover forces him to battle for control of his most precious asset… the name Halston itself.

i admit i only watched this because of ewan the whole crazy fashion worldg dosen’t interest me much, and he didn’t disappoint he was quite good as Halston, very entertaining.
Ewan was quite funny as Halston, which made this watchable. The 2019 documentary, on Halston, isn’t bad either.
Just waiting for Netflix (or?) to do a mini series on Warhol. Other than documentary, don’t think Warhol has this honour yet.
Warhol knew where to be at the right time and the right place. He rode the tailcoats of brilliant artists during his time…otherwise useless.
Not bad. Ryan Murphy comes out with something (mostly) serious, for a change. Netflix was probably salivating, when seeing this release date, as it has been crazy starved for content - of any sort - that isn’t a bland true crime documentary about something from 15 years ago.
This mini-series is good, but not great. Everyone does well in their roles, but it is the exact right lenght at 5 episodes. The story barely fills the episodes, instead leaning on the great cast to bail it out.
Loved this show so much! Ewan can do no wrong and I enjoyed seeing him take on this character. He did a brilliant job ♥
Agreed, he really can’t…he’s all around one of a kind and brilliant…from the moment I first watched Train Spotting, I knew he was going to go far. I really enjoy watching him act…so very talented.
Ewan McGregor is one bold, bada** mf. Loved this.
