An elderly herbalist and a wealthy Greek, Theo, find a wounded girl in the forest. She has lost her memory and doesn't even know her name, so she is forced to re-acclimate herself in an unfamiliar world. Her past hides many secrets, and her present seems like a sad joke. Calling herself Alice, the heroine begins to pave the way to the truth and a lasting future. But old enemies and new acquaintances are not averse to taking advantage of the gaps in her memories. |
