In Canada's far North, near the Arctic, a massive structure rises by a river. It protects a remote mining community from the harsh elements. The inhabitants simply call it The Wall--but what seems like a safe enclosure soon turns out to be a deadly trap. It all starts when the body of a young woman is found in one of the ventilation shafts. The investigating detective, Céline, is convinced the murder is linked to the suspicious death of a young boy three years ago. Unfortunately, those deaths will only be the first in a disturbing sequence. As bodies pile up and panic ensues, the deepening crisis forces members of the community to reveal secrets they'd rather keep hidden. Meanwhile, the case is further complicated by Céline's budding romance with a local married cop, and by the return of her estranged daughter, Sophie. Under intense pressure to solve the case, Céline is on the hunt for a serial killer while the people within The Wall have nowhere to run… |

Well, I found this on another site with subtitles and as most of you know, I hate subtitles! But since this sounds like a good Canadian crime drama I might have to watch at least the first season. Might start it tomorrow since my corner of the state is supposed to have snowy/icy weather. I work at a university and I can work from home…..wink, wink…….
Season 2 is even better than the 1st! French Canadian Crime Dramas have come a long way, superb!
Check your DMs.
Really enjoying this French-Canadian Noir! Starts out slow, turning into a great binge for a snowy Saturday.
