looking for gold in old mines is a waste of time and money . see where it goes Good Luck (E. to booger . the time effort and polution it takes to open a not sustainable source is.. lazy . guess the tv money is good enuff(E again - bet the US soil is one of the most dugd up pice of earth, even since before the war.. but sure maybe they missd some go get it.. (ditten wanted to sound rude, just trying to keep it short .) i havent seen the show yet,did they find some ?
I disagree.
With gold prices at an all time high, it’s a smart move for small operations to go back over proven ground, especially in the lower 48 where operation costs are not nearly as high as Alaska or the Yukon.
And if you listened closely a lot of mining was was shut down because of War, don’t forget that the demand for metals used for war scewed the prices they had in peace time. (edit response to NoxllockZ edit)
Sustainable? This is a precious metal we are talking about and not gourmet coffee beans. The supply is limited and can never be replaced. And while gold is not needed to sustain life, it, unlike a lot of other “sustainable” and “free trade” etc. crops has legitimate uses, jewelry not being one.
