Noel Edmonds took to the road for two weekends in August, bringing the village of Crinkley Bottom to the racecourses at Haydock and Doncaster where it was visited by over 60,000 people. Among the attractions are flying displays, sporting events and visiting celebrities. "Crinkley Bottom can reasonably claim to be Britain's most famous village," says Edmonds. "This way, everybody gets the chance to be a villager for the day." |
