Josh finds a young LA couple that have a family room issue. The space is pretty large, but serves as everything from space for the kids to play to office to hangout for darts night with the boys. Seeing a real need for direction, Josh and the House Crashers crew first tear off all of the paneled walls and add hardwood flooring. Next the space gets divided using first a gigantic door with a distressed Union Jack flag on one side and cork board on the other. Then the rest of the room divider is custom built using huge basket weave patterned modular puzzle pieces. In addition to new furniture, lighting, paint, storage cabinets, and massive desk space, Josh also designs and builds a custom bar height table distressed with blow torches. Speechless is one of the only words the homeowners can come up with when they get to the final reveal of two completely new spaces. |
