This boring game room was not cutting it for the man of the house. He wanted a place to watch sports with his buddies with the volume turned way up! To transform it into a proper home theater, the room is enclosed with a completely new soundproof wall. The popcorn ceiling is covered with a pattern of random-length lumber, and the tiny window is replaced with a door leading out to the backyard. A DIY television screen is "painted" on the main wall and surrounded with red laminate tiles for a punch of pizzazz. Finally, a cork floor is installed along with a window seat, which includes storage for various television components. |
