This is the story of Men and Women from South India, mainly Tamil Speaking people from the Madras Presidency who came more than two centuries ago to Ceylon (Sri Lanka)as indentured laborers to construct the roads and railways and toil the coffee and tea plantations contributing to Sri Lanka’s economic development to date. |
