The world has gone to hell proceeding a global bacterial infection. After his wife, Jackie, falls victim to the disease, a recovering alcoholic, Adam Carver, finds himself and his 7 year old daughter, Jessica, in an abandoned house in the middle of the desert. He records the last four days of his life in a journal. His final accounts tell of his horrific story. He is forced to do unspeakable deeds in order to survive and in doing so he is driven to the brink of insanity. It’s only when he encounters an unlikely ally from his past, does Adam regain what’s left of his shattered humanity before it’s too late for his soul. |
