When a naked young woman, unable to speak and unable to understand anything appears in their bedroom, Henry and Annie train her to cook their meals and clean their home in the belief that she has been sent by God to make their lives easier. They have always worked hard and tried to live good lives, but things have been getting harder since Annie became ill. In this experimental, psychological horror, the more the woman is trained to behave like a civilized human being, the more Henry and Annie doubt that she is the answer to their prayers. |
