Geggseh, a seven minute short film, is a self narrative based account of Ryan, who moved to Durham in the north east of England with his brother during his time at secondary school. He recalls the tribulations of his school years where he felt unappreciated and was constantly provoked by three pupils, of which the story is based around. The film fuses ambient and thoughtful soundscapes with the natural narrative voice patterns of the story. Most people will have come across a similar character to Geggseh in their own lives at some point. In short, Geggseh fills the void between the mental and the physical, in a helpless youth’s state of mind. |
