One of the most pristine and beautiful places on earth is the Bladen Nature and Columbia River Forest Reserve, located in the Toledo District of Southern Belize; some have described it as paradise. Unfortunately this paradise is currently threatened by the planned construction of a hydroelectric dam. This film documents the local people’s struggle to save the reserve that they depend on for their survival and way of life. |
