This personal, yet universal documentary shares the heritage, family traditions, culture, love and respect of a southern family from Opelousas, Louisiana. It pays homage to grandparents who paved the way for the next generation to progress in America, and speaks to the importance of documenting our family elders whose wisdom, knowledge and history helps to define our existence in the world and get us through the snake’s skin of life.
