After the Fall is an animated film about the inability to connect with other people. The frustrated lead character eventually finds community by planting a seed taken from his heart. The film is drawn on index cards that are shot in close-up and in outdoor environments. Locations include a fast food restaurant, an urban garbage dump, a flower farm in full bloom and the foothills of Mt. Hood. The final shot of the film reveals the simple secret of this unusual technique. |
