Someone else gave this a 1 where i gave it a 5, its that kind of movie, some will see it as a tragedy others just won’t care. The Movie unfolds normal enough and then it starts to show signs of cracks under the plaster, there’s a hint of something sinister and we begin to examine the characters more closely. Acting is top shelf and these two really deliver a memorable performance.
Okay there’s a brief but weird scene with Florence and her father creeping up from behind, i’m not sure but there’s a hint of sexual abuse and i think Florence may have been abused and it’s so deeply buried that she’s not even aware of it. i think this movie may be about trauma that people carry and don’t even know about, they have no explanation for their behavior. Its tragic eh ..
