This documentary simply titled Mozel, chronicles an extraordinary man who as gospel singer, radio show host, preacher, and civil rights leader touched the very famous to the unfortunate. We will witness the historic account of Reverend Mozel Sanders, who four times marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, and worked closely with elected and community leaders to help the conditions of the poor and downtrodden. On Thanksgiving Day in 1974, Rev. Sanders fed 20 neighborhood people. The Mozel Sanders Thanksgiving Day Dinner has now grown to serving over 40,000 people. It is the perpetual thread that weaves it way through this story of life, love and generosity year after year. |
