Friend Husband (Short 1918) (1918)

Complications arise when a husband learns that a wealthy uncle whom he has never met is about to visit him and has promised to bestow $10,000 upon his nephew’s baby, which, unfortunately, does not exist. Wayland Trask, as the young husband, makes strenuous efforts to borrow an infant for the occasion. Charles Murray, as the neighboring bachelor, lends his assistance, and Teddy, Wayland’s faithful dog, also kidnaps a baby.
