A metal door separates the container from the black sea, which is occasionally lit up by flashes of lightning. Another shape can be seen in the darkness, an abandoned place with forgotten objects bearing witness to the life it used to contain: mattresses, closets, tables, chairs, toys and books; things that had once been useful to someone. The halls are lined with bare rooms. The windows seem to let the sky take over the unused space, while in the end the silence dominates undisputed. |
