‘The Bruce Movie’ is a 20 minute documentary about the life of Bruce Kickery - a youthful 70 year old man from Northampton, MA with developmental disabilities. After Bruce learns the art of filmmaking, he begins to record his daily life, interview his many friends, and reveal a wicked sense of humor. The film ends with a visit to the the deserted Belchertown State School where Bruce was confined for much of his younger life. Much of the film is shot by Bruce himself. |
