Talkin’ Bout The Blues is a musical journey that explores blues music, and the lives of the artists that perpetuate this great American art form. Shot on location in the American south, the documentary features world renown blues players such as Honeyboy Edwards, Charlie Musselwhite, and Willie King. Just as important, the piece also features local blues musicians such as Bobby Whalen and Terry Williams, who keep blues alive in the juke joints of the rural south. This documentary features the artists in very informal settings talking about topics such as blues lyrics, religion and blues, and the future of blues music in America. There is no narration in this piece, just great musicians talking about their lives, and the music they love. |
