Awilda is aloof to her natural great ability to spell. She is coerced by her teacher to enter her school spelling bee. After winning the local spelling bee, a mysterious professor, Morpheus, takes a special interest in Awilda, and decides to train her for the next level: The BX National Spelling Bee. Professor Morpheus sees Awilda’s desire to be a winner, but in-order to do so she will have to overcome the obstacles of a few haters, a “smart-Chinese kid” and issues of her own self- confidence. |
