Live shooting in the biggest “container city” in Italy, showing the rhythms, the spaces and the life of container depot workers. It is still dark when the waitress of the early morning shift starts opening up the café. She picks up the newspapers and prepares the coffee machine, which will work nonstop all day long as workers come and go in that non-place deep in the countryside outside Bologna. At lunchtime, as everyone is busy with trays, standing in line in front of the plates of food, two Turkish truck drivers eat their meal outdoors and take their time sipping their coffee. |
