Zeynep, a famous actress, gets captured in a house where she’s intruded for camping, and locked in a depot by two men. The reason to come to this camping area for Zeynep, who is in a grate struggle for escaping from the chair she is tied on and the depot, is understood as the story goes: Zeynep has been led to this place by a hacker in an online game she recently plays. To save Zeynep is the aim of herself as well as of those who have locked her in. Once she is saved, all the story appears in a different way. “BeYourself” is a story of the characters with a confused perception in which the cyber changes places with the real. The reality for them is their cyber identity, and the world we know is but a game zone. “BeYourself” is a film to see our cyber identities, which we are already in and we feel they’re changing our perception and life style, from a cyber-perspective. The film is a bottomless and unreliable well much like the characters it contains. The style and tone, on the other hand, tries not to shadow the scenario in which everything is within the other and the concepts of good-bad and right-wrong become meaningless.
