Trukulutru is a trip through the lesbian’s world in Italy, particularly regarding Rome where the Vatican is located. Our protagonist Titiritesa (Carina Wachsmann) is leading us through the discovery of this world by interviewing diverse personalities of the show business, of politics, of nightlife, but also common people and places, demonstrations and women’s hot-spots showing how the lesbian movement has been changed in the past years. Our protagonist gets her name from a fairy-tale about two princesses called ‘Titiritesa’ which she is telling us in intriguing and sparkling words and which frames the film. |
