Prior to picking up her first pair of boxing gloves, Laila’s original fight was between her personal brand and personal identity. The two go head to head after she takes a plight down a flight of stairs and crosses paths with a deceased woman. Thirty-year old aspiring media personality, Laila Bataglia makes ends meet by moonlighting as a bartender in South Boston, Massachusetts. Her desire to press onward with her career aspirations is supported by her large social media following, a place she identifies more with than who she is in her day to day life; but that all changes when Laila takes a plight down a flight of stairs after learning about a local woman’s untimely murder. |
