Begun as a modest carpentry project in a Wisconsin man’s front yard, Little Free Library has blossomed into what commentators have dubbed a world-wide movement. Todd Bol meant to build just one little school house, as a tribute to his mother. He filled it with books for his neighbors to borrow. But after he saw how people responded to his creation and told his buddy Rick about it, the two got to thinking. In this short documentary you’ll meet Todd and Rick together with some of the ardent community-minded readers who are part of their global phenomenon. Okay, so most of the little libraries are in the Midwest. Just wait. |
