Beware of the Stranger begins with a young woman sitting in a quiet forest clearing reading yet again a short letter from her boyfriend. It explains that even though he is in love with her, he has met another woman. As she reads, she hears a sound in the trees behind her, it’s as if someone is calling her name, she looks around and sees no-one. Thinking that she has imagined it, she continues reading. Once again she hears the sound and it is someone calling her name but in a strange voice. Sara is scared that she doesn’t recognize the voice and that she is also alone in the forest, she gathers her things and slowly walks away from where she was sitting. The voice calls again, this puts absolute fear into Sara and she runs as fast as she can away from the pursuing voice. Exhausted, Sara falls and whilst recomposing herself, she hears footsteps approach but is too fatigued to get up and run any further. She will take the consequence of the strangers advance.
