In The Pines (The Beginning) is based on local folklore in White Co. Tennessee. The setting is the late 1800’s. Adeline and Lisette are two sisters who are fed up with the amount of time their husbands spend hunting. Cecil and Thaddeus are two brothers at odds over the way they treat their wives. Adeline and Lisette hatch a plan to teach their husbands a lesson, but the lesson the two brothers learn isn’t quite what they expected. |
