Details:

This promotional video chronicles the journey of literary artist Sarah Elisabeth Sawyer during the Artist Leadership Program. Filmed on location in Durant and Tuska Homma, Oklahoma, it also makes use of photos taken at national institutes in Washington, D.C.. Supported by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, we discover the thought and work behind the book project, ‘Touch My Tears.’ The anthology is an effort to preserve Choctaw Removal stories, and was a result of the NMAI Artist Leadership Program.
