In 1984, Marty Stroud prosecuted a young man named Glenn Ford for the murder of an elderly jeweler for whom he did yard work. Ford, a father of two with another child on the way, was convicted by an all-white jury and sentenced to death. In 2013, after three decades in solitary confinement, evidence came to light proving his innocence. This is Mr. Stroud’s apology. |
