Alice is a single mother in a small town, forced to cope with the sudden loss of her teenage daughter, Lucy. As Alice struggles to fill the void in her life, she becomes lost in her own memories and her daughter’s possessions, especially Lucy’s piano. To deal with her grief, she sets out to learn how to play the piano. Along the way, Alice must also contend with Mr. Novatney, her grumpy neighbor, who seems to have little sympathy for her situation. |
