This is a four-minute short video in color and B&W. Not much action, rather a compilation of images, illustrating the story of threes’ struggle to survive. At first the roots tenaciously cling to a rocky soil that support them in their attempt to live and grow. But maybe it is the sudden storm, maybe a rot taking hold, or the shallow soil finally giving way, unable to support the heavy trunk any longer, so there eventually comes the inevitable end- the tree dies. But it is not the end. Serving as a symbol of nature’s cycle, affirming the continuity of existence, the process begins anew. |
