Our story follows a man who struggles with an addiction to sex and the impact it has on every aspect of his life. While “The Slut Always Rides Shotgun” may masquerade as a simple story about sleeping around, in reality it is a very deep tale about the difficulties of finding one’s self and being open about who we really are. The underlying message portrayed within this film is discovering the things about ourselves that we cannot change and accepting them, no matter how negatively they may be viewed by others. |
