A short essay film shot on location at Philadelphia’s gothic Eastern State Penitentiary. The film interrogates the ‘arrested decay’ of the urban ruins through hand-processed 16mm imagery, exploring, visually and textually, the kinds of memory available to architecture and film. The dancing remnants on the celluloid mirror the crumbling walls of the prison cells. |
