Moving to NY is an incredibly motivating yet daunting experience. Land of Kings follows Jonathan Patterson, a 30 year old, over-educated, unemployed writer new to both New York City and the day to day struggles of making it his home. With only a few months of security Jonathan’s finances tighten up, and his new reality sets in. Through this series of shorts, Jonathan discovers friendships in a new community, fights the small battles of everyday life, and pursues his dream of becoming a celebrated author in a city that will make and break you. |
