Hilton was a private contractor and he excelled at his job. He knew the rules of the game and the consequences of breaking them. Ultimately, however, his conscience got in the way of objectivity and he had to leave the game. When he is asked to watch his employer’s wife, Vivienne, who is suspected of adultery, the lure is too great and Hilton finds himself becoming stuck in the messy web of emotional entanglement. |
