I’m Going to College. At least that’s what Isabella Santiago was telling all her friends, but life has a powerful way of changing things, so much that going to college would be the very least thing she would have to worry about. Her parents, Perez a Professor at nearby Indiana University, and her mom, Juanita, a former ballerina and art grad student, have raised her right. Izzy has grown up around the college life in Bloomington, home of I.U., lakes, art, and outdoor activities. She is a popular girl but not a party girl,instead she focuses her attention on serving at a school for the blind. That is when she’s not running track, or active in her church activities. Izzy has always been first in her class academically, and going to college was never a concern or question until that day…the day she is taken…without anything but to rely on but her faith.
