Topher is the Outreach Coordinator for the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks. His dedication to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities through outdoor recreation inspired him to create video guides of accessible trails. Topher’s project involves creating videos with vital trail information and descriptions needed by people with disabilities that can be downloaded to portable devices such as smart phones and tablets. He combines enthusiasm, outdoor education and a great sense of humor to bring a fun, entertaining learning experience while removing significant guess work and danger in order to inspire and motivate people with disabilities to explore new trails. Removing fear of the unknown empowers individuals with disabilities to feel independent and encourages them to connect with nature.
