When ten-year-old Michael realizes that his Mother is taking his dying Father to the hospital and he won’t be coming home, he finds himself reliving a fishing trip with his Father and Uncle that started off right and ended up horribly wrong. As time slips away on their last day together, Michael realizes that there is little chance for reconciliation with his emotionally distant father and he struggles with the question of how he will remember this charismatic and at times abusive man. |
