A short-film documentary that examines homelessness, a tent city in Ocean County, NJ and possible options to addressing this growing problem through use of micro-housing and a One Stop Model shelter in Bergen County. Recently in August, Executive Director of the Bergen County Social Services Center received an invitation to the White House due to their efforts in the 100k Homes campaign. This educational documentary explores some of the best practices, worst results and alternative solutions to dealing with this vulnerable population With commentary from experts and advocates, there is consensus among service providers, activists and elected officials that collaboration and prevention, are key to stamping out homelessness. |
