This documentary short film introduces the audience to Paul, an eccentric, larger than life New Yorker who became known as The Bird Man of Washington Square Park. When the successful Persian carpet repairman lost his business he decided that he’d had enough of that life and began spending time at the park feeding pigeons and squirrels. Through our lenses we capture Paul’s intimate relationship with each one of his beloved pigeons, who immediately fly toward him as soon as he sets foot in the park, while we also explore Paul’s unconventional life philosophy through a wide range of topics including love, society, nature marriage and freedom.
