While on furlough, U. S. Navy sailors “Breezy” Duke and his pal, “Cookie” are offered the use of the Duke suite, belonging to a wealthy candy magnate, at an expensive hotel because of Breezy’s last name. The offer was tendered when “Breezy” hinted he was the son of Mr. Duke. Thinking “Breezy” is rich, a jovial old swindler, “General” Courtney, who has planted a phony treasure on a desert island, offers to locate it for them if they finance the expedition. Courtney has enlisted the aid of a flashy blonde, Maureen, to further entice “Breezy’s” interest. The two sailors talk their buddies into putting up their money also. They actually find a real buried treasure on the island which causes many complications to arise. |
