William Walters is a legend in his own mind. Actually what goes on in his mind is more of a mystery especially to his state mandated therapist at the villainous (Vilnius) Mental Hospital. Once a well renowned actor of blockbuster films, both here and abroad, he is now degraded to lowly television commercials. The pressures of his fame gets the better of him and he is ordered by the court to spend some quality time in a more secure environment. While trashed and without knowing, his store bought Russian mail order bride screws him over and possibly induces him with some kind of medication that puts him over the edge. He is the blunt of her quest to get the big pay check and exposes him over the internet - making him out to be a fool. Now, after offending just about everyone in the world by these recorded phone conversations, he finds himself in a mental ward. But, as it turns out, it’s not so bad. He finds his true soul mate and falls deeply in love. Unaware of his new surroundings, he doesn’t catch on to the fact that it’s an all-male facility and that his new love is a transsexual. This just shows how good the drugs are that the state provides. Hey, nothing but the best for these whack jobs. Now married to this dude that looks like a chick, he is then informed about his wife’s gender and he wants out ASAP. During all this time he has wild elaborate dreams due to the drugs. This is a journey into the mind of a complete psychopath. He flashes back to the movies and commercials he once did. To tell anymore would just ruin the story. It is an edgy comedy about a great man that has suffered and is suffering from a mental breakdown over a woman that wasn’t worth it. |
