After buying their dream house in an affluent Dallas suburb, blissful newly weds JASON and RACHELMCDADE,a young and recently pregnant, Yuppie couple, rent their guest house to a new tenant to make so much needed extra cash. Enter,COURTNEY KING, a young nurse who works at a local veterinary hospital, who wins them over with her unassuming, somewhat shy, but friendly manner. Things start to take a turn for the worse and the couple soon realize that behind Courtney’s facade hides a sadistic sociopath. She begins to emulate Rachel’s lifestyle and soon becomes obsessed with Jason, managing to seduce him and creating marital discord between the couple. After an unsuccessful illegal attempt to evict this femme fatale, Courtney begins to terrorize the couple, driving them to frustrating, physical confrontations and incurring debt in order to keep their home from foreclosure. This leads to a final battle between a heavily pregnant Rachel and a very angry Courtney, who face off in an explosive and violent confrontation in the guest house - the final eviction.
