After losing his wife and son in an automobile accident, Henry Lee’s life has slipped beyond his control. After a series of arrests, Henry’s attorney negotiates a deal to keep him out of jail, with the caveat that he meet regularly with a therapist. Once in the care of Dr. Marc Neill, Henry begins to explore the trauma resulting from his car accident, his late wife’s constant neuroses, and his delusions of seeing his family wherever he goes. Dr. Neill proposes an experimental treatment, one which will allow Henry to have closure with his family by revealing the world as it truly exists. Henry soon learns that the truth offered by Dr. Neill is far worse than anything he could have imagined.
