Jan, a man in his early thirties, lives alone and spends a large portion of his day watching TV and going to the gym. When his neighbor, an attractive Greek girl, moves out, the emptiness around him deepens. A film about seemingly little, Jaro searches for the soul of the human condition, and finds release in a darkly comic ending that blurs the line between the real and surreal, questioning the value of a worldly existence and creating a mood that lingers long after the film ends. |
