A collection of brief experiments in narrative culled from a weekly film project conducted in the wine country of Sonoma, CA (north of San Francisco). The genre-hopping ‘flipbooks’ examine life from multiple vantages with eye toward philosophical comedy. An escaped android creates a customer service nightmare, a man escapes death by seducing her, Big Brother finds his world empty, a croissant has an existential crisis, a superhero is out of a job, chess masters dual, a vampire turns to wine and a professor debates the difference between art and trash. |
