Based on the history of King Taejeong who, before he was king, killed his elder brother thus clearing the way to the throne. His father, King Taejo, was upset and concerned for his own safety, by this and moved the seat of government far from his son. Taejong sent many messengers to apologize and to convince his father to return, but his father killed each messenger. Finally, Taejong sends a high level monk who is also his father’s best friend. |
