The band Cable rose to prominence in the first half of the decade as one of the leading voices of the “noise-core” movement in the New England underground music. The band fell from the public eye in the years that followed as internal struggles, line-up changes, and poor decision making hampered their progress. Several record label changes and dwindling financial support lead to the bands self destruction but not before reuniting once final time to record their swansong “Last Call”. “Last Call: The Movie” is comprised of archival footage and interviews with former band members and other music industry associates. Great pains have been taken to detail each Cable release and to “set the record straight” on the turbulent career of these obscure but still remembered rock visionaries. |
