Destined to become a cult classic. Just the right balance of action, violence and a little fun thrown in. Amber Heard at the peak of her gorgeousness. William Fichtner at his best. Great date flick or for hanging out with buddies on a Friday night. I only give 5/5 for movies that I think will become classics. It’s not a “seriously” great classic movie, but for its genre it is.
The accountant should get a spin off movie
This feels like a film adaptation of a graphic novel, only there’s no graphic novel. I really don’t like 3D movies, especially when I’m watching them on my regular-ass TV but it doesn’t go into 3D mode so often that it’s terribly distracting. I enjoyed it, it’s fun, shouldn’t be taken super seriously. Just a fun “let’s see how much crazy shit we can pack into a movie” type of deal. In the vein of Crank, or Shoot Em Up, meets Ghost Rider. There’s also a hilarious episode of How Did This Get Made where they discuss this movie, I recommend listening to that on YouTube or Stitcher or whatever if you decide to watch this movie. 2.5/5
